DEPTRUM Showcases 3D Depth Cameras at the 2024 New Quality Productive Forces Development Conference
Recently, DEPTRUM presented multiple 3D depth camera products at the 2024 New Quality Productive Forces Development Conference's New Quality Bay Area zone, drawing wide attention with its latest 3D vision breakthroughs in AI and intelligent manufacturing.
The conference was co-hosted by the Shenzhen New Social Strata Association and the Futian District New Social Strata Association, bringing together resources from government, enterprises and industry associations. Through the four innovative sections of “one exhibition, one conference, one festival, one loan,” it broke industrial boundaries and deeply integrated technology with ecosystems, covering AI, IoT, intelligent manufacturing, digital economy and other emerging industries — advancing Shenzhen's exploration and practice in new quality productive forces and injecting new momentum into building a modern technology capital.
DEPTRUM's 3D vision technology provides the visual foundation for intelligent development, attracting not only the attention of industry peers but strong interest and high praise from on-site visitors. Among the 3D depth cameras DEPTRUM exhibited, the Nebula 240 MIPI depth camera drew the most attention.
Based on the proprietary sToF technology, the product combines structured light and ToF routes, successfully solving the multi-path interference problem of traditional ToF and giving the camera precise depth reconstruction at both near and far range. This innovation provides strong support for the visual perception of robot vacuums, commercial service robots and other devices, helping significantly improve their localization, obstacle avoidance and mapping capabilities.
Beyond the Nebula series, DEPTRUM also displayed multiple innovative and practical 3D cameras, including the Stellar 420 ToF depth camera and the Aurora 900 structured-light depth camera. Especially notable is the HandPass 100 dual-modal palm camera: through media-free, contactless palm-scanning technology, it completes identity verification and payment without physical contact — true effortless payment. This improves both the security and convenience of payment and demonstrates the broad prospects of biometric technology across fields.
This conference is not only a platform for displaying technological innovation, but a stage for industry, academia and policymakers to cooperate openly and explore the infinite possibilities of new technology applications. In the future, DEPTRUM will continue to deepen its R&D in 3D vision, contributing to building an intelligent, connected future world and driving technology to change life.
