DEPTRUM at FAIR plus 2025: Powering ROS Education Robots Together with Guyueju

DEPTRUM

FAIR plus 2025, the robot industry chain fair, was held grandly on April 24–26, 2025 at the Shenzhen Futian Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair brought together top forces from industry, academia and research, injecting strong momentum into the robotics industry's move toward high-end and international development. During the event, Guyueju robots equipped with DEPTRUM 3D depth cameras made a striking appearance, drawing crowds of over a thousand professional visitors.

As robotics technology develops, ROS education robots have become a popular global track in education thanks to their open-source, flexible and ecosystem advantages — and it is one of DEPTRUM's key focus areas. As a leading ROS robot brand, Guyueju is committed to providing a quality learning and exchange platform for robotics learners, deeply integrating theory with hands-on development to give universities, research institutes and developers a robot ecosystem from algorithm validation to scenario deployment.

The ROS education robot cars on display at the Guyueju booth carry DEPTRUM's Aurora 933 depth camera. Built on 3D structured light technology with the joint power of a high-performance ISP and an ASIC depth-computing chip, it captures the 3D structure of objects and spaces in real time with high precision. Even in challenging scenes such as low light and backlight, it stably outputs high-quality colored infrared and depth images, providing clear and reliable visual perception and significantly improving the robot's understanding of and adaptation to its environment.

Through years of deep work in robotics, DEPTRUM has built a full-stack robot perception solution that supports multiple technology routes — iToF, sToF, structured light and stereo — along with robot perception computing capabilities such as 3D SLAM, obstacle segmentation and RGBD fusion, helping robots accurately identify obstacles, dynamic targets and spatial layouts in complex scenes and providing key data for path planning, avoidance navigation and interactive decision-making. It has been widely deployed in robot vacuums, commercial cleaning robots, delivery robots and more, enabling stable and efficient operation in complex dynamic environments.

The partnership between DEPTRUM and Guyueju further advances technological innovation and ecosystem building in the ROS education robot industry. Guyueju's deep expertise provides real-world scenario validation for DEPTRUM's 3D vision technology, while DEPTRUM's 3D sensing solutions bring better technology and products to robot developers. Going forward, DEPTRUM will continue to deepen its work in robotics and, together with Guyueju and more excellent partners, write a new chapter of innovation for the robot industry.
