DEPTRUM Attends the 2025 China (Guangxi)-ASEAN AI Application Ecosystem Exchange Conference
Recently, the 2025 China (Guangxi)-ASEAN AI Application Ecosystem Exchange Conference was successfully held at the Wuxiang Cloud Valley AI Computing Industrial Park in Nanning, where DEPTRUM presented a range of products, bringing its latest achievements to visitors and industry experts.
The conference was jointly hosted by the Nanning Municipal People's Government, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Big Data Development Bureau, and the Cyberspace Affairs Commission Office of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee, among others. It brought together leading AI companies and experts from home and abroad to explore how artificial intelligence can drive industrial integration and innovation and promote the inclusive development of “AI Plus.” The conference comprehensively showcased the deep application of AI technology in education, intelligent operations, agriculture, healthcare and many other fields, promoting the deep integration of AI with the real economy.
As one of the highlights of the conference, the AI Ecosystem Application Alliance Exhibition Zone attracted more than 40 ecosystem partners and companies from ASEAN countries around the world. DEPTRUM's impressive presence in the zone showcased its technical innovations in biometrics and robot vision perception. In particular, the palm-payment devices, the Nebula 401 depth camera and the Aurora series depth cameras attracted wide attention from visitors and media.
Among them, the palm-payment device, with its unique dual-modal biometric technology combining palm prints and palm veins, lets users complete verification with a simple raise of the hand. Its millisecond-level recognition speed greatly shortens queuing time and improves the user experience, while the media-free approach effectively reduces the risk of contact-based transmission. The technology has now been widely deployed in many application scenarios at home and abroad, driving the rapid development and adoption of biometric technology.
In addition, the display of the Nebula 401 depth camera and the Aurora series depth cameras further highlighted DEPTRUM's technical breakthroughs in robot vision perception. The Nebula 401 leverages the sToF technology of DEPTRUM's WFP nanophotonic chip to perform structured-light and ToF depth reconstruction simultaneously, achieving long-range high-precision and mid-range ultra-high-precision measurement while overcoming the multi-path interference and reflectivity problems of ToF technology, empowering intelligent robots with precise 3D vision perception, SLAM and obstacle avoidance.
The conference not only demonstrated Guangxi's great potential in advancing AI cooperation with ASEAN, but further consolidated its role as a bridge of China-ASEAN cooperation. DEPTRUM will continue to leverage its strengths in AI technological innovation and global expansion, demonstrating the strong competitiveness and influence of Chinese technology companies in the global AI industry, promoting the worldwide application of AI technology, and contributing to a more intelligent, secure and convenient future.
