DEPTRUM Named to the 2025 Sensor Top 50 List
The 2025 World IoT Expo and the Intelligent Sensor (Wuxi) Innovation Development Conference recently opened, where the 2025 Sensor Top 50 list was unveiled on site. DEPTRUM was selected for the list, earning high recognition from the judging committee for its innovation and deep expertise in multi-dimensional visual sensing technology.
The “2025 Sensor Top 50” list is jointly launched by the Intelligent Sensor 50 Forum and EO Intelligence, attracting top companies across the IoT and sensor sectors. Its selection criteria span technological innovation, market competitiveness and industry influence, aiming to spotlight companies with breakthrough technologies and high growth potential.
Core technology is the driving force of technology companies. DEPTRUM has spent years deepening its work in three core directions — optical sensing, intelligent perception and performance computing — and has filed more than 1,000 domestic and international patents, building a strong patent barrier from core technology to application scenarios and delivering full-chain solutions that run from underlying hardware and perception algorithms to upper-layer applications, covering finance and payment, robotics, biometrics, intelligent transportation, sports venues and many other industries.
In biometrics, DEPTRUM's multimodal palm verification solution significantly improves the security and efficiency of identity verification in complex environments. As a third-generation biometric technology, palm verification is medium-free, contactless and highly secure, enabling fast identity verification and permission management across scenarios while reducing user waiting time. Its contact-free service also lowers the risk of contact-based transmission and improves public health safety. It has been widely deployed at Beijing Subway Daxing Airport Express, Yingdong Natatorium, Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, 7-Eleven stores, PetroChina gas stations, Shenzhen University and many other sites.
In robotics, DEPTRUM's sToF technology innovatively combines the ToF and structured-light technical routes, giving robots a complete solution for both near- and far-range perception. Through 3D visual information captured by the Nebula series of depth cameras, robots gain superior spatial understanding and environmental awareness — autonomously building virtual environment maps, understanding complex scenes in real time and responding with precision to achieve obstacle avoidance, SLAM and navigation, and working stably and efficiently in all kinds of environments.
This selection for the “2025 Sensor Top 50” list fully reflects the industry's recognition of DEPTRUM's technological innovation. Going forward, DEPTRUM will continue to advance the global expansion of 3D vision sensing technology, extend its innovative solutions to more industries and contribute further to the growth of the global intelligent sensing industry.
